January 14 - Regatta – Night at the Races with ‘boats” not “horses”
We are betting on horses and the winners take home all money. It is a fun raiser not a fund raiser. Tickets are $3 to pay for refeshements.
February 1 - Volunteer Appreciation Dinner –
This is an event where the club shows the appeciation for the time and efforts
our volunteers devote to the Club. The event is by invitation only. Volunteering
6 times makes you eligible for a lovely dinner invitation.
March 6 & 7 Swamp Fest
We are purchasing a booth at the Swamp Fest to promote our Club to the thousands of visitors coming to Hernando County's largest event. http://www.wwswampfest.com/
March 28 Picnic at Linda Pederson Park
This is an old fashioned Picnic at the beautiful Linda Pederson Park near Weeki Wachee. Hamburgers on the grill with all the trimmings. Meat will be provided, sides are pot luck style. We have lots of games lined up and all have a good time. Tickets $5
May Free May
The free May is the club's grand promotional event. We invite the Public to attend lecture classes for free, not even Membership is required all May long
June 7 New Member Orientation Brunch
We invite all new members to a lavish brunch, home made my our volunteers and presentations by our Board members telling you all about the club's many educational and social activities.
August 23 Sunbird Auction
This event is really fun, $20 tickets will give you a full fletched dinner and a bunch of tickets for the Chinese style auction, where you can win many of the merchant certificates or private lessons with our instructors.
October 11 Expo
The Expo is an exhibition for the General Public, where our instructors set up tables and wait for anybody with questions about their specific topic. Outside exhibitors also are invited. 40 or more volunteers are needed and lots of visitors to make this an informative event.

December 13 - Christmas Party –
One big party, lots of delicious pot luck choices, Karaoke, Chistmas Cheers, Santa, Games
