eBay – eBay is an online marketplace where millions of items are bought and sold each day. They are traded through auction style listings. You don’t need special software to connect to eBay. Anyone with an internet connection can buy and sell without leaving the comfort of his own home.  Everybody loves a bargain and eBay has become a bargain hunter’s paradise. 

Session 1 – eBay Buying
In session 1 you will become acquainted with eBay and start navigating the site.  You will learn how to set up your user account and ID, understand eBay’s auction types, and become a smart shopper.  You will learn how to browse through the eBay categories and evaluate the information on a listing.  And, finally, you will learn how to place a bid and how to watch your bid using My eBay.  You will also learn how PayPal works.

Session 2 – eBay Selling
It's no longer enough to just throw your items up on eBay. If you treat the site like a garage sale, you'll get garage-sale prices. To stay ahead of your competition, you need to learn the basics of selling.  In this session you will learn how to research the value of your item, take pictures, techniques in preparing your listing, estimating shipping costs and how to receive payments.
